Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea at graduate-level degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.
1. Scholarship Duration
- Master's: 3 years (1 year for Korean language + 2 years for major studies)
- Doctorate: 4 years (1 year for Korean language + 3 years for major studies)
2. Eligibility
- Nationality: Applicants must must be US citizen, and parents must hold U.S. or other foreign nationality.
- Age: Applicants born on or after September 1, 1985
- CGPA must be equal to or above 2.64/4.0, or 2.91/4.5.

4. Application Deadline: February 28, 2025 (Friday) by 5:00 PM
(Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted)

- One original and three copies
- One official transcript must be sealed (copies will be made at the Education Center)
- One recommendation letter must be sealed (copies will be made at the Education Center)
- Despite the attached guidelines, required certificates can be submitted without an apostille. Only applicants who pass the local screening and are selected for the U.S. Embassy interview must submit documents with an apostille.(If your document is unable to be re-issued, please keep the original and obtain an apostille on a notarized copy.)
